Thanksgiving TV Choices

Published by kchofmann under entertainment Edit This

Most people eat and eat and then watch television all day on Thanksgiving. You should be thankful for your TV on this day as well as there is plenty to watch for everyone. Just you might have to fight over the remote, just like you did over the wishbone.

Starting in the morning you know you got to peak at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. For the kids sake they like to see Santa Claus and for you, you get ready for that shopping spree you will be making the next day.

Of course, there is no Thanksgiving with no Football. The first game will be the winless Lions against the one loss Titans. After the Titans loss on Sunday they might be a little upset. What better to beat up the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving. Only a miracle can prevent this one getting away from the Titans, although this will be Detroit’s closest thing to a Super Bowl.

The next game will be another laugher where the Dallas Cowboys will host the Seattle Seahawks. Seattle is another team that just has had everything gone wrong, although Dallas sometimes lets teams like this hang around a little to long. The Cowboys need this win to continue their momentum and keep pace with the rest of the NFC East.

In the night game on the NFL network if you are privileged enough to have the channel you may want to tune in at the Eagles and Cardinals. This maybe Donovan McNabb’s last game as an Eagle if the team losses again. Meanwhile, the Cardinals are trying to get back to winning after a tough loss against the New York Giants on Sunday.

For the college football fans, Texas will be bouncing as Texas and Texas A&M square off on ESPN in the evening. Texas needs another win to keep up with the rest of the BIG XII.

For the non sporting people and the ladies and children there is also plenty more to watch.

After the Thanksgiving Parade you got the National Dog Show which always gets big ratings on Thanksgiving. You also got a full day of Jon and Kate Plus 8 on TLC as you can spend time with the Goselins for Thanksgiving.

The kids will be bouncing for a pretty good lineup as well. In the morning and after lunch Cartoon Network will airing a mini marathon of Chowder. If you have missed this one, this is a great new show on Cartoon Network. As well you got the “Spongebob Movie” on Nickelodeon in the afternoon and “Charlie Brown’s Thanksgiving” and the “Incredibles” coming on after in the evening on ABC.

For everyone to watch, I recommend “Click” which is airing on FOX in the evening with Adam Sandler and for all of you Mike Myers fans “Austin Power’s Goldmember” is on TBS. Who will win the battle as both of these movies are very funny.

All in all if you love TV, then Thanksgiving is the day for you, and for the rest of you who hate watching TV on Thanksgiving then you better go take a long nap after eating that Turkey. Happy Thanksgiving and everyone be safe.

Kitchen Nightmares X 2 Tonight

Published by kchofmann under entertainment Edit This

Need something new to watch, and need to laugh at someone else getting yelled at for once. Check out Gordon Ramsey tonight on Kitchen Nightmares on FOX. For two hours starting at 8/7 central they will be airing back to back episodes.

If you have watched Gordon Ramsey on his other smash hit Hell’s Kitchen or his British version of Kitchen Nightmares then you know that you will be entertained. If you have missed Gordon Ramsey at all or have been under a rock for the last few years Ramsey is the next Donald Trump of celebrity chefs.

Ramsey will let anyone know that he is not on TV for some culinary exposure, but to rid the world of half-ass owned restaurants around the globe. Ramsey has made millions as a mega chef owner and mogul based on his pure ability to not be taken for a ride. Gordon sees through BS faster than superman sees through brick walls.

There is no doubt Gordon Ramsey is huge across Europe but now he is leaving his mark on the US and changing the way people should run their restaurant’s in a more smooth and most important profitable way. The financial crisis itself can be saved by Gordon Ramsey. He would say to everyone ” If you can not handle the heat then get the F out of the kitchen.”

Beware thou some of the images will be a little nasty, and I recommend you are not eating a meal during this show. Although Ramsey is an extremely awesome cook this show finds some crazy stuff in these kitchens that would make a health inspector vomit.

Simpsons vs Family Guy

Published by kchofmann under entertainment Edit This

Imagine this for a second, it might make you laugh or think it was a stupid idea.

There needs to be national debate of who would win the one on one battle between each family member of the Simpsons versus the Griffins of the Family Guy. Here is the tale of the tape and who each family member will be facing tonight.

Bart versus Stewie

Homer vs Peter

Lisa versus Meg

Maggie versus Chris

Marge versus Lois

For the sake of PETA and all harm towards animals we will make Brian the referee for all of the fights . Don’t worry he has hated Peter for years.

Here are the results you make your’s up?

Bart versus Stewie is the first match

Fight I

(the bell rings)

Stewie is running around the ring trying to use his stealth like speed, although Bart of course has snuck in his trusted swing shot and Stewie has become target practice. Bart gets dizzy from chasing Steuie and he becomes vulnerable to Steuie’s next move. Stewie becomes so confident thou that he sites a pretty young lady in the front row and starts asking her what she is doing after the fight. Meanwhile Bart grabs a hidden scateboard and smacks Stewie over the head and Stewie is out.

Brian awakens from his drunken stooper from his pre fight karaoke party and Stewie has lost the first fight as he is counted out. Stewie awakens and runs from the ring saying “You will all pay miserably!”

Fight II Homer versus Peter

Both at the ring of the bell decide to exit stage right and take a break in the lounge for a few cocktales. Both are getting a little too loose and we have to continue because Brian wants to go join them.

Fight III

Meg versus Lisa was the fight of the century. I had never seen so much blood and painful wresting combinations in all of my days. The fight was so long that a draw was decided. Lisa was clever and quick but Meg was just plain dirty and merciless towards her opponent. Brian was also hit in the mouth by a vicious late swing by Lisa as the the final bell rings.

Fight IV

Maggie versus Chris

Much like your typical Rocky IV set up, Maggie is against the world as Chris Griffin is the mad Russian. Although Chris’s sloth like moves and wild stench might be the difference in the fight. All of a sudden after the bell rings. Maggie pulls out the same gun she used to shoot Mr Burns out of her diaper and blast’s Chris in the arm. Everyone is shocked but because Maggie brought a gun in the ring she was immediately disqualified. Maggie left the ring in utter silence and sucking noise of her pacifier.

Fight V

It all comes down to Marge Simpson and Lois Griffin. As the bell rings. Brian “screams please stop this madness.” Lois and Marge are eye to eye at center ring. Brian suddenly starts feeling aroused by all of this as Lois and Marge start wresting. Four arm chiver, after suplexes, after close lines the fight comes to a climatic point.

“I am getting word another fight has broke out.”

It seem that another fight has borke out in the lounge with Homer and Peter lets take you there now.

Homer says hey “That waz my last peanut”

Peter responds “No it waz not”

Homer is decked and Peter falls over as he is too drunk to stand anymore.

Brian calls the match

SVFG I Fight over as this fight will have to continue another day and there was the first ever fight between the Simpsons and the Griffins. You try it now. Just imagine these two families in the ring and anything can happen.

Fight I

(ring)

I missed what?

Published by kchofmann under entertainment Edit This

This weekend you might of missed the great SNL performance by Paul Rudd who was very funny as he normally is, but Justin Timberlake stole the show again with his guest appearance.

You might of missed the Chicago Bears get hammered by the Green Bay Packers, for Bears fans its okay if you missed it.

If you are in the early Christmas mood you missed or maybe caught the Dr Seus cartoon “The Grinch that Stole Christmas” and the “Wizard of OZ”. “Wizard of OZ” is one of the those movies that you can watch at any age.

Did you see Barack Obama might bring Hillary on board as the Secretary of State. Go get her Barack! The Clinton’s rock and we need more of them. Bring back Bill as well.

Their was a tie in the NFL this week between the Eagles and the Bengals. But somehow Donovan McNabb thought their was no such thing and teams just kept playing. For his sake they called it at the right time.

Many upset gamblers and fantasy football leaguers are up in arms after the Pittsbuirgh Steeler and San Diego Chargers ended in a one point game, although that score was never actullay announced as many believed, as a last minute touchdown, created mass confusion and a lot of uncertainty that anyone knew what was going on.

Oh and you got to believe many were watching the “Notebook” right?  No I watched the “Break Up” with Jenifer Aniston and Vine Vaughn  that has a more realistic storey line.  Plus you all might of caught a peek at “Something’s Gotta Give” with Jack Nickolson, Diane Keaton and Keanu Reeves.  Reeves was also seen in the “Light House” with Sandra Bulluck but I missed that one, my bad.

Lastly TRL is no longer with us and a part of my teenage years are all but gone.  Last night was the last show for MTV’s viewer request show where many of the stars today got their first spot on TV.  Players like Emminem, Kid Rock, Brittney Spears and Korn might of not been as big without TRL. We all should thank MTV and its fans for featuring all of these greats plus countless others.  We could of gone without boy bands NSYNC and Back Street Boys but their would be no Justin Timberlake or Lance Bass. Noooooooo! JT your the man and TRL will live on, just as a different show with another name on MTV.

50 versus the Donald

Published by kchofmann under entertainment Edit This

Your fired, has a new ring to it and his name is 50 Cent. We better all call him that if you want to be a fan or business partner. Never call out Curtis Johnson at a concert ever again after watching the Money and the Power on MTV last night, you should understand if you watched.

The second and third dropped contestant from the show were seen as just people looking for a spot on TV. While 50 saw them for who they were and canned their butts right on the spot. That is a kind way of what actually was said. Plus 50 has already got rid of some the trouble makers out of the way as well.

50 Cent has shown only tough love and little regrets to his recent departed contestant’s for 100,000 dollars. Even the Donald himself has not shown as much tough love as 50. Although I still would bet on the Donald having a bigger bankroll than the young mogul.

Whether you love 50’s music or just like his presence on videos and TV or just plain do not now who 50 is, go check this show out. The Money and the Power is as good as all of your Puff Daddy’s and Rev Run’s shows out there and if you have missed out on the first two episodes then you are missing out. Plus he features his music as much as he can and it’s all good.

Will the new 50 be the next Donald of New York? If he keeps it up with this show on Thursday nights the Donald better watch out. This is no Apprentice, this is for the Money and the Power.

Top Shows to Watch Tonight

Published by kchofmann under entertainment Edit This

The Office is on and this is the number one show you should watch tonight, Pam and Jim’s relationship is fighting temptations from the biggest city in the world. Steve Carrel is funny as ever but recovering from his latest romance let down. Dwight’s beet farm will be the hot locale for Andy and Angela’s wedding. You can learn more and watch the latest episodes online at nbc.com

Smallville might not be your number one pick but for die hard fans you know you can not miss a minute of the latest adventures of Clark as young superman. The show has lost some luster with two of its stars no longer regulars, but the show has been good. Check it out tonight on the CW.

Ugly Betty sorry but not on my list. Grey’s Anatomy is worth small doses but not to much at once.

Football is back on Thursday night as the New York Jets face the New England Patriots on the NFL network. A lot of bad blood between these two teams and Brett Favre will always be a factor. Coach Mangini and coach Belicheck are at it again in prime time.

Dr Drew and Celebrity Rehab are together tonight in a new episode. These people are in tough times and Gary Busey is a riot. Last week show when Busey drove the boat to fast and tipped him and his passengers into the water that was funny and they were sober. God bless all of them and let’s keep rooting on tonight

Do not forget about 50 Cent’s the Money and the Power, last week show was worth the wait. Who will be dropped this week catch it on MTV tonight. 50 pulls it off pretty well as a disgruntle Donald Trump.

Hey if you missed New York Top Chef premier last night I am sure they will play it again about forty times over. Tonight might be the night and catch the new dozen of chefs that are more entertaining than you think. Everyone’s favorite judge Chef Collicio is back and badder than ever.

Some other honorable mentions for picks tonight, 30 Rock with another special guest. My Name is Earl getting better with age, Kitchen Nightmare’s is great with Chef Ramsey and for all of you Survivor fans, GABON is all new.

Good hunting for your TV picks and hey the Bulls will try to pull it all together and beat the Dallas Mavericks tonight, catch a peak of Derrick Rose he is worth watching. Last time facing the Mavericks he led the Bulls to a comeback win, even thou that was pre-season , the chances of victory look good tonight

Monday Night TV revisted

Published by kchofmann under entertainment Edit This

Welcome to the launch of superdad2 where television is the hot topic of choice.

Monday was family night and if your excited about TLC programming, then strap on in and here we go.

Big fan of Jon and Kate plus 8 where the Gosselin’s are off to Hawaii to renew their wedding vowes. The Gosslins are the model of all super sized families and all of us who only have 2 or 3 kids are just plain wusseys.

After the crazy eight gang you had the new episode of Little People Big Planet. The short son whom is old enough to drive now gets to show off his fancey driving. Vans are always the best for mudding don’t you think? However his recklessness is not tolerated as the parents put their monopoly boot down and the keys are taken away.

If you missed One Tree Hill then you are just plain, out of this world. Lucas is head over hills whether to have his book chosen as a motion picture screenplay because the producer used to have the hots for Lucas’s Peyton. Lucas decided to take matters into his own hands and pimp slaps the old fling boyfriend. I would have done it as well, superdad is intolerant to other men messing with any of my woman regardless if I was with another woman. Watch out for that law suit coming Lucas, you are dealing with the big dawgs now.

No superdad is not gay, not that there is nothing wrong with that, or no offense Perez Hilton, and do not email me or leave secret numbers my loving lady would be upset. We watch these shows together and you know there are other guys doing the same thing on Monday nights. Right, oh yea Monday Night Football was on, oh crap.
