On Tuesday many were upset in the Chicago land area that they were unable to attend the historical event in Wahington DC. Many in the Chicago land were asked to work in these tough economic times. With snow covering most of the Chicagoland area thou there were other ways to watch the historical inauguration of our 44th president of the United States of America
Most companies in Chicago were gracious enough to allow a television so that anyone can catch President elect Obama speech as he was sworn in as our next president. Although it seemed as thou everyone across the country were getting in on the act.
If you were a member of Facebook they did a wonderful job of combing their social network with those at CNN and the two teamed up for a nice way as well to watch the event online. Millions of people were able to post comments and feel as though they two were part of the event, even thou not present but feeling the emotion as well in front of their own computer screens.
In summary imagine if John F Kennedy back in the 1960’s was able to take advantage of all of the ways we got to watch a president like Barack Obama get sworn in as president. Thank god for television, however many American back then still did not have that luxury. Although they did make a movie about the event back then but who knows that will probably be the next thing they do for Obama.
The event really was spectacular and just the unity of everyone being there really shows that this county does care about our future interest in politics and that everyone can now feel as thou they are involved in politics and a change for good once again.

Tonight is the night for the upcoming Real World Brooklyn on MTV. What can we expect more of the same, but we always go back for more, right. Last season was good but I expect the cast from New York to kick it up a notch. As always the producers of MTV will have enticed us all Real World junkies, after week one.
“In Other TV Action”
The People will speak on behalf of their favorite stars of the past year at the 35th annual People’s Choice Awards on CBS at 9/8 c. The award season is kicking off whe hue! Although I am ready for some Golden Globes.
We must still wait one more day for BCS National Championship game. Thursday Night might be the most meaningless games ever if this game is not a blow out by either team, while countless other teams are claiming the number one prize as National Champ. I’m pulling for the Sooners, Bob Stoops is due unless he wants to join Jim Tressel as another big game coach that comes up short, once again. Nice job to the Utah Utes as a 13 and 0 team may still not be crowned a champ. You can join Auburn and Boise St in line as the last few teams that are perfect but not the champs.
90210 kicks it off again tonight. A whole lot of drama, as always is what will take place. I guess the theme of tonight shows are drama, can I get some comedy please!
More comedy you ask then go to TBS for Tyler Perry’s House of Payne and his new show airing tonight Meet the Browns. All starting at 8/7 c.
I might even go check out the old gang of Scrubs on their new home ABC with guest star Courtney Cox. The show has always been appealing not always great but some shows are better than others. Maybe ABC will give it some more life, it was missing.
Top Chef aims to please the pallot as the gang from New York are still fighting to become New York’s Top Chef. Catch up on older episodes as they at Bravo are showing all of them today. The New one aires tonight.
