Watching Madness Unfold
March Madness is a great time and one of the best sport specticles all year round. There is no better tournament college or pro better than the 65 teams that get to play every year. Moreover one of the best things about the tournament is how we watch the teams and results unfold before us. Before Larry Bird and Magic Johnson there really was no March Madness it was just another tournament that came at the end of College season that really the only ones that got excited were the players, alumni and those attending the games.
Now in 2009 March Madness is as big as the Super Bowl and every year countless hours are lost at work because employees and even bosses are hooked and cannot go an hour without getting some sort of live tournament update. Well with the economy the way it is these days and employers cutting jobs left and right the last thing you need to do is get fired or laid off because you were caught watching the NCAA March Madness men or woman. So if you are one of these people like me that are hooked to March Madness there are solutions for you.
One you can get a satellite these days and you can pay to see any game you want at any location and at any time. No more CBS local coverage but nationwide so that you never miss a minute of your favorite team that is playing. Second, that first one sounds expensive does it not, so another suggestion you can get a DVR or Tivo which many cable people provide these days with a few extra bucks and you can record live games and then go back and watch them at your leisure. However many times that one guy or girl will blow it for you as you hear the score of the game you want to see and now you really do not want to watch because you already know what will happen. I can’t stand spoilers and I’m sure many of you feel the same.
Solution, thank you internet which nowadays can be cheaper than actual cable or satellite and you can can do the same and watch any live game you want right now on the internet. Through CBS Sportsline they provide all the games online and at your leisure for free right now. Yesterday as always the local coverage on television was hauled for news and other temporary programming however I wanted to watch the Washington Huskies and the Mississippi State Bulldogs in Portland. I just got on the computer and was able to download for free the software I needed and within seconds I was watching the game. I used my link from Facebook but even if you do not have that you still can just go straight to CBS Sportsline and you can do it straight from there. We are in 2009 and if we want to watch something we can and it feels great.
Even thou this guy was not in the tournament I still love this dunk. Thanks for stopping in today.
